V will not charge you for the delivery of your product, all you pay for is the V SIM and the rest is on us.

Unfortunately the SIM can only be accepted by the requester, this is for security measures and we also need the requester to present their ID and sign to receive the shipment.

As soon as you activate your V SIM, you will receive an internet settings SMS, therefore all you need to do is install the setting and the internet will be working fine.

You can also install the internet settings into your phone manually.

In your handset settings you can enter the APN (Access Point Name) to VData and restart the phone. 

1. First select Apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select More Setting or More Networks.
4. Select Mobile Networks.
5. Select Access Points Name.
6. Click new APN.1. First select Apps.
7. Apply the APN: VData.
8. Click save. 
9. To activate the Internet settings you have just installed, please switch your Android phone off & on.

If you have another type of handset, please refer to your phone manufacturer’s manual to find out APN settings.

1. Click the Settings icon.
2. Select Cellular.
3. Select Cellular Data.
4. Switch the on/off switch to on.
5. Select Mobile Data Network
6. Apply the APN: VData

Remember that the number you dial must consist of the international code followed by the country code and the phone number.


For example, when calling the Spain:
International code: 00
Country code: 34
Destination number: 777549731

Note: Remember to drop the 0 at the start of the number you are calling.

If calling a landline number, please insert the area code.

Roaming is automatically activated on your V SIM card as soon as you arrive to your destination.

Tip: If you do not wish to use the internet while abroad, just switch data-roaming off on your phone.

Please refer to your phone manufacturer’s manual to do so. 

To activate Voicemail manually, just dial *222*41# then press call.

Voicemail is automatically activated on your V line once you purchase the SIM.


To listen to your message or personalize your voicemail greeting message, call 1400 and follow the instructions.

To deactivate voicemail dial *222*40# then press call.

If you cannot make or receive calls, please first perform the following checks:

Make sure that you have credit on your phone by calling 14400.

If you can’t make an international call, please ensure you are dialing the international code, followed by the country code and finally by the mobile/landline number (without the 0 in the beginning).

Are you connected to our network? V should be displayed on your phone screen.

If you are not connected to our network, please perform a manual network search by first switching your network mode from automatic to manual:

Access your phones menu.
Select network settings.
Select network selection or connectivity.
Select manual network search.
After your handset scans all networks in the area, select a non V network to reset your network settings.
Repeat the manual network search again and now select V as your network.


If having performed the above steps you still cannot send or receive SMS, please contact Customer Services on 14400. 

Roaming is a service which enables you to use your V SIM when abroad and is automatically activated on your line card the moment you arrive at your destination.


How do I connect to a local network when abroad?

Our roaming service should automatically connect you to the best local network for your V SIM the moment you arrive at your destination. However if you have no network connection then please perform a manual network search by following the below steps:

Access your phones menu.
Select network settings.
Select network selection or connectivity.
Select manual network search.
After your handset scans all local networks in the area, select a local network to connect to.
Switch your handset off & on to complete your connection to a local network.

You should now be able to make outgoing roaming calls.

How much does it cost to use V SIM card when abroad?

The cost depends on the country you are visiting.

You can request a replacement SIM card with the same number as well as your existing balances by visit your local V store where they will perform a SIM swap.

A PUK code stands for personal unlocking key; that is used to unlock a SIM card. If you incorrectly enter your SIM PIN code three times in succession, a lock will be placed on your SIM card, and you will need a PUK code to unlock it.

Your PUK code can be found on the back of the SIM card holder. 

If you no longer have the packaging you can contact customer services on 0576014400.

Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be blocked and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "SIM blocked".

2. You can use our USSD menu system to recharge, just call *1955# and select option 1 for recharge.

3. Call 14400 and press option 3 to recharge.

4. Go to your V app homepage and select recharge.

1. Dial *1955# and press the call button to display your basic V balance.

2. Dial *122# and press call to receive all your remaining minutes and data.

3. Call 14400 and press option 1 to listen to a voice message of your entire balance including information about your bundles.

4. Download the V app to view you balance and bundles.

V's Credit Transfer will enable you to transfer your Credit to another V number.

Credit Transfer options:

1. Dial *111*2*V Number*Enter the Amount# then press call.

2. Call *1955#, Select option 2 to transfer credit.

3. Download the V App and use the Credit transfer service from the homepage.



Note: The service will deduct 50 Halalas from your V number.
